Dear Participant,
We have the honour of announcing the 4th Food Safety Congress which will be held at Harbiye Military Museum on 14-15 May 2013 in Istanbul with the collaboration and support of world's largest professional organization – International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) – Turkish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and 29 other professional organizations and NGOs.
The Congress, having doubled its success each year has created an important platform for the development of the Food Safety movement, its evolution into an academic tradition and the development of a common mind. Food Safety Congress aims to gather all interested parties involved in food safety, including government agencies, universities, professional groups and the industry on the very same platform. Thus, the congress has become an annual meeting place for all related stakeholders.
Within the framework of the scientific programme of Congress, Food Safety issues will be addressed from the perspective of health, science and technology, legislation and food law by national and international scientists with valuable expertise in food safety area. They will present up-to-date information and share their experiences.
Food Safety is not only important in terms of consumers’ rights to access safe food but it is also a trade precondition and a legal requirement. I kindly invite you to the 4th Food Safety Congress, to address together this important issue through its multiple aspects. We shall be honoured by your participation.
